Frederic Arnold Kummer
Frederic Arnold Kummer (1873–1943) was an American author, playwright, and screenwriter known for his prolific work in both fiction and non-fiction. He wrote detective novels, science fiction, and historical works, with popular titles including "The Green God" and "The Brute." Kummer also contributed to early silent films, penning screenplays and adapting stories for the screen. In addition to his literary achievements, he was an engineer and often incorporated technical knowledge into his writing.
