Francis Augustus Cox
Francis Augustus Cox (1783–1853) was an English Baptist minister, educator, and writer. He is known for his works on religious history and Baptist biography, including "The History of the Baptist Missionary Society" and "Memoirs of the Rev. William Kiffin". Cox was a strong advocate for missionary work and education, contributing significantly to Baptist scholarship in the 19th century. He also helped edit the "Eclectic Review," a publication focused on literature, theology, and social issues.
