Felix Moscheles (1833–1917) was a British painter, author, and peace activist, known for his involvement in international arbitration and pacifism. The son of renowned pianist Ignaz Moscheles, Felix was deeply involved in the arts and politics, advocating for peace through organizations like the International Arbitration and Peace Association. As a writer, he penned several works, including "In Bohemia with Du Maurier" (1896), which details his friendship with artist George du Maurier, and "Fragments of an Autobiography" (1899), offering insights into his own life and pacifist ideals. Moscheles was also a dedicated spiritualist, which influenced some of his writings.
