Ernest Favenc
Ernest Favenc (1845–1908) was an Australian explorer, journalist, and author, known for his contributions to literature and historical accounts of Australia's inland exploration. He played a key role in mapping unexplored regions of northern and central Australia during the late 19th century. Favenc wrote several works, including "The History of Australian Exploration from 1788 to 1888," which provided detailed accounts of early explorers. In addition to his historical writings, Favenc also wrote fiction, with notable works like "The Secret of the Australian Desert."
