Edwin John Dingle
Edwin John Dingle was a British journalist, writer, and explorer known for his adventurous travels and work in Asia. He authored the book "Across China on Foot," documenting his 1909 journey walking across China and observing the country’s social and cultural landscapes during a turbulent period. Dingle also explored Tibet and later settled in Shanghai, where he became involved in journalism and the study of Eastern spirituality. His experiences and studies led him to establish the Institute of Mentalphysics in the United States, promoting meditation and Eastern teachings to Western audiences.
