Clarence W. (Clarence Walker) Barron
Clarence Walker Barron (1855–1928) was an influential American financial journalist and publisher. He is best known for acquiring and expanding "The Wall Street Journal", which became one of the most respected financial newspapers under his leadership. Barron also authored "The Audacious War," a book discussing the economic implications of World War I. His insights into the financial world had a lasting impact on both journalism and the way financial news was reported.
