Charles Duke Yonge

Charles Duke Yonge
Charles Duke Yonge (1812–1891) was an English historian, classicist, and prolific writer. He translated many classical works, including those of Plato, and authored several historical and educational texts. Among his notable works are "A Life of Marie Antoinette" and "The History of the British Navy". Yonge also contributed to reference works, including translations of political oratory such as "The Orations of Demosthenes."
