Cedar Paul
Cedar Paul (1880–1972) was a British writer, translator, and political activist, known for translating numerous works from German, French, and Russian into English, often in collaboration with her husband, Eden Paul. She played a significant role in introducing Marxist and socialist literature to the English-speaking world. Among their notable translations is the Russian novel "The Twelve" by Alexander Blok. Cedar Paul was also an advocate for women's rights and contributed to social and political movements in the early 20th century.
