Anne Beale
Anne Beale was a 19th-century English novelist and poet known for her works centered around rural life in Wales. She moved to Wales in the mid-19th century and became well-regarded for capturing Welsh culture and customs in her writings. Some of her notable works include "Simplicity and Fascination" and "Gladys of Harlech." In addition to novels, Beale also published poetry and short stories, often reflecting themes of family, morality, and social issues of her time.
