Allen Upward
George Allen Upward (1863–1926) was an English writer, poet, and philosopher, known for his association with the Decadent and Symbolist movements. He authored works in a variety of genres, including novels, plays, and political treatises. One of his notable works is "The New Word" (1908), which reflects his philosophical ideas and critiques of contemporary society. Upward's literary career was marked by his unconventional style and themes, though his work remained largely overlooked during his lifetime.
