Allen Raine
Allen Raine was the pen name of Anne Adalisa Puddicombe, a Welsh novelist born in 1836. She gained popularity for her depictions of rural Welsh life, writing novels that focused on themes of love, hardship, and community in the Welsh countryside. Some of her best-known works include "A Welsh Singer" (1896) and "Garthowen" (1900), which were well-received for their vivid descriptions and emotional depth.
