Adelaide Hoodless
Adelaide Hoodless (1857–1910) was a Canadian educational reformer and writer known for her advocacy in domestic science and women's education. She authored the influential book "Public School Domestic Science" in 1898, emphasizing the importance of home economics in school curricula. Hoodless was instrumental in founding the Women's Institute, the National Council of Women of Canada, and the YWCA in Canada, organizations that sought to empower and educate women.
