Abby Morton Diaz
Abby Morton Diaz (1821–1904) was an American writer, educator, and reformer known for her contributions to the women's rights and labor movements. She was active in the New England Women's Club and a founding member of the Women's Educational and Industrial Union in Boston. Diaz authored several books, including "The William Henry Letters" and "The Schoolmaster's Trunk," which featured humor and themes of social reform. Her work often explored the experiences of women and children, emphasizing education, equality, and self-reliance.
