A. S. (Angelo Solomon) Rappoport
Angelo Solomon Rappoport was a Russian-born Jewish scholar, writer, and translator who lived between 1871 and 1950. He is best known for his works on folklore, history, and religion, including the books "The Folklore of the Jews" and "Ancient Israel: Myths and Legends". Rappoport also wrote on Russian culture and translated many works into English. His contributions helped popularize Jewish folklore and broadened understanding of Eastern European Jewish traditions in the West.
